Douchebags like that really make me hope that it isn't an American that has done it cause it really makes me wonder why in the hell I put my life on the line while in the military to protect f^cknuts that pull those types of stunts. Yes, I am a vindictive SOB. If it is a guy or guys I hope they get their dick skin stuck in their zippers.

On a lighter subject, it is a catchy toon. At least they are not trying to upload a virus via the site. Thats a plus. Its probably just some D-bags doing what D-bags do.

Garm isn't showing as online here and he isn't answering his mobile. He might be working on it, might not be yet. I have called in a complaint to Go Daddy about it. I really need to get into my PMs to get contact info for someone and order parts. DAMN IT
P.S. When I called Go Daddy they said that the only one that can issue a complaint about a hack or put in a report is the owner. To me this is very disturbing. I had actually been looking to use them however that right there is a buzz kill for me.

It's most likely a DNS attack and not directed specifically to MI. That's probably why it hasn't propagated to Thailand yet.

Just saw the site, what bullshit... Anyways no smart ass "Arab" is gonna rain on the open house. All the locals are showing up there today, forum or no forum. If his goal was to harm MI, he failed miserably. The MI stickers on alot of Yarii around the world are more than enough to own this loser.
And god help him if he ever comes face-to-face with Garm. He's a really nice guy and won't hesitate to help you out where he can, but get on his bad side and he'll (kids, stop reading this now) stick his foot so far up your ass he'll tickle your brain with his toes.
eTiMaGo
10-09-2010, 01:38 PM
lol I'd like to see that... but for what it's worth, this does not seem to be a targeted attack, just seems like some kiddies who think they're so smart found a loophole in the hosting account somewhere and messed something up... other sites also had the same thing...

^ yeah, sometimes, it's a contest between two groups and the winner is the one that deface the most website. the goal is to be seen by most of internet users... nothing personnal to MI... but it's )#$*(&# annoying...

It's a private joke, jumpman. (There was a guy on here a few weeks ago who said that Garm didn't have any parts for the Sedan, shouldn't call himself a supporting vendor, etc., was all bent out of shape... It's probably still on here somewhere.)

I think the problem was that he was running an outdated version of vBulletin. The Google cache page shows version 4.0.3 and the latest version is 4.0.7. Since his main page of the site (index.html) redirected to the forum, he should just change the redirect to some other page for now and disable the forum.
This same person has also attacked sites that use WordPress.
Yikes! This site is running 3.8.0. Knock on plastic Yaris interior panels LOL.
