I put an aftermarket stereo in my 07 hatch but I couldn't find the dimmer wire.

The stereo has this feature.

This blue light is almost blinding at night.

What kind of head unit is it? brand and model.....Its usually a blue wire if memory serves...

Sony CDX-GT540UI (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_158GT540UI/Sony-CDX-GT540UI.html?tp=5684).

I can find the dimmer wire for the head unit, just not the wire from the car.

I think it is green. It should be pin #10 in the blue 10 pin plug.
