immobiliser alarm light not on ?

Hi, can some help please -
I have a 2007 Yaris Zinc 1.3 auto

The red light on the dashboard that usually flashes when it is locked is now not working ?
My key fob works ok, unlocks doors, starts car ok.
I looked last night and the light was flashing but tonight it is not on.
The only thing I have done today is open the bonnet to top up the windscreen washer, the bonnet is shut ok though.
ANY HELP PLEASE. :confused:

Does the light go solid red when you lock the doors?

Its hard to say could be a immobilizer ecu problem or a problem with the key less entry. Try locking and unlocking the drivers door with the key and then try the key less entry.

Hi Krusty, tried unlocking with key then start engine, also locked door with key then keyless entry still no red light.
I will have a look tomorrow if there is a fuse for the immobiliser, the other thing is we only have one key and I am wondering if the key we have is not the master key ?, if that makes any difference ?.
