quick question. about to purchace underdrive pulley kit. but whats the difference in the 10% pulleys and the ct-lite pulleys? are the 10% actually lighter than the cheaper one?

Being smaller the 10% underdrive is likely slightly lighter. But the main purpose of the 10% underdrive version is to reduce the accessory load on the engine (turn the alternator and AC pump slower) thus freeing up a engine power for increased performance.

so does this mean if i wanted to go that route and get the pulleys, would it affect the performance of my around 700 watt rms system? and what about the ac it gets realllllyyy hot in northern california...

you should not get an under drive pulley if you have a system. Get the lightweight pulley instead.
An under drive pulley and any type of system will lead to a constantly dead battery, even with upgraded alternators and the like.

Mine never did, I have 1200 watt system in the Yaris and a 2400 watt system in the tC.

1200 watt rms system? because i couldnt even get a 1900 watt rms to work in my impala and if that works in a tc thats pretty damn impressive lol

Well yea, but I am sure you did it the right way. I remember one of those audio guys in the forums was complaining about the dead battery and he had all sorts of crazy stuff going on as well.
