No paint damage! The weight of the tree was sitting on the Yakima cross-bars.

That's pretty cool.
I used to drive a Miata and put all kinds of stuff on there with the top down. The guy at the furniture store made me sign a waiver before he helped me load a love seat on it. You should have seen the looks I got when I carried a 24' ladder on it during light snow.

You should have seen the looks I got when I carried a 24' ladder on it during light snow.:laugh: Been there. When I was drifting my Miata, I didn't have a support vehicle. So I had to load my tools, jack, helmet, and four wheels and tires onto my Miata. Two tires in the passenger seat and two strapped to the rollbar. :biggrin: Hopefully the Yaris won't be as cumbersome when it comes to hauling stuff.
Nice shot of the tree though. I hope the branches and such didn't mess with the roof too much. :smile:

I would have wraped it in a blanket or something.
We picked up a 6.5" tree for my sister and put it in the truck of my brother in laws 73 Caddy, And closed the lid. That truck is big enough for two trees LOL
