Hello all... can anyone help me - Toyota Previa 80K service schedule?
Btw my Yaris + Previa are both running smooooth as silk. My Yaris has just had it's 70k service, and it's running so well. Not that it was running rough... but you know when you just get a car serviced it always feels great. Especially now it's got 10w/40 oil and not 0w/30 it did have in!
Recently I took my Previa to my local garage in Darlington - whom i have used for 12+ yrs ... BUT NOT any more. I got them to check the handbrake (not holding) came back with a bill for £890.00 (ap $1423.00) !!!!That was for new DISC'S F+R PAD'S F+R and inner PAD'S for the hand/parking brake.
But bear in mind the car PASSED an MOT only a few month's before, but had a YELLOW advisory (RED would be a fail ) on brakes - which had slight wear!! So knew the garage were trying to take me for a MUG.
So them I took my Previa to a garage in Hartlepool Cleveland - they service our Hearses limousine's etc - The bill came in at £64.00 (app $102.00) - that is some difference. The car ONLY needed inner brake shoes for the handbrake!!! Talk about trying to pull the wool. :mad:
Must go.. Charlie our new born (4 months) has fallen asleep on my lap... it's hard to type with a growing baby boy on yooour lapppp.
