The front emblem is thicker, so a backing piece would need to be made, or maybe the skull emblem would fit in the recessed area. I'm not sure, I dont' have a stock bumper any more to play with.

I would rock the emblem the way that it is as it fits pretty damned close however the big issue is the holes. There really is no way to cover them unless you got creative. I have a way to get creative for my custom emblems that I am working on right now however it wouldn't be viable for most. I would think that the only two realistic options would be:

1) Fill the holes, sand, paint, clear coat.
2) Create a thin backplate somehow that would cover the entire area under the emblem similar to the front.

I just installed my skull emblem.

The residue from the old emblem can be easily removed with isopropyl alcohol.
A quick app of some wax brought back the shine.
Then, I just pressed the new one on.
It looks great!

Excuse the dirt on my car, It needs a wash and wax. What looks like a stain is actually my reflection. :smile:

Will get a pic of mine up...we debadged hatch lid to make skull pop even more. Quality is great and fit is great,skull is just a hair smaller than factory emblem but it looks and fits great.I will be aceing a order for another !

My chorime skull just arrived today but I am having second thoughts whether I should install it this weekend or wait till the spring to put it on.

Temp outside is getting cold and we're close to winter time now so maybe it's probably a good idea to wait.

Finally i get to order my two emblems today!!! i also ordered a foglight kit i have been wanting forever now. Sorry it took so long. had a motorcycle wreck a lil while back and just now got caught up! now to order the replacementlight switch w/foglight control. Unless someone knows where i can pick one up for cheap? 2009 lb?

^ that is the Netz emblem. In Japan, the yaris is marketed as a "Netz" brand, kind of like Scion is here (Scion is really a Toyota).

Even the Netz brand car retains the Toyota logo on the back, though. The Netz rear logo is not authentic.

^ you have to get your fingers behind it to release the snaps. I actually just yanked mine off with pliers.

I still have my '09 HB with the rear skull logo and still occasionally get reactions to the logo like some taking a pic of it or, just pointing it out etc .

However, today I just had to laugh at the reactions
I was waiting for the light to change to exit a super market parking lot when a car pulled up behind me with two older gents in the front seat. Keep in mind that I'm older myself (retired) but this was somewhat funny .

The guy driving noticed it immediately pointing it out to his friend and he obviously did not like it judging by his actions and the look on his face that I saw in my rear view mirror

However, judging by his friend's reaction and sly smile smile about it, he must have thought it was kind of cool (for lack of a better word) and obviously did not agree with his friend, not understanding his friend's reaction to it . No sense of humor,etc he must have thought of his friend . While the driver did not like my logo, his friend clearly did not agree to his friends reaction to it .

In any event, it's nice to know that people do notice it . Most do not react quite that humorously however. :)
