Hello!
How will adding a rear sway bar affect gas mileage?
Thank you.

It won't, unless you count the addition of 13 pounds weight.

I just might decrease gas milage a bit it you find yourself driving more agressively at times due to the better (faster) cornering the swaybar enables.

Yeah I would think the only effect would be tire wear cause I now love throwing my car into corners, lol. But I also love how much more stable it is in cross winds.....big difference!

you can probably assume 1mpg per 100lb...roughly. and this all depends on weight to begin with, power, and gearing...but you can assume 1mpg/100lb

so, take your .13mpg and decide to coast instead of hitting the gas and you'll get it back...or, you can decide to lose 13lbs and make it up.

^ Well, when I load mine up with my crew, my MPG should drop to about 10. :)

I dont know if that is 100% accurate because I'm a big ol fatty, bout 375 and I still get an average of 36mpg. I've even get close to 40 before during long trips.
