Electric Yaris

Sorry no pics but we had an electric Yaris come in to my work today. I was at lunch so I didn't get to check it out but my guys did. It was done by a local company in Mooresville NC. It had 28 lithium ion batteries and a top speed of 80mph and a range of 140 miles. Pretty neat car.

There's a thread on here about a guy from the West Coast that bought one. The last post was it heading back to NC by truck to get the leaking gear box replaced. It's a cool idea, although in that electric conversion you forfeit the back seat.

Yeah they kept the spare tire but lost the back seat. I guess that would be a toss up.
