2011 yaris

shit guys, if only i had waited another year....lol, 2011 yaris looks exactly like 2010 on it has heated mirrors and it has The VIP RS3200 Plus security system......oh yeah, the 3 dr has the RS?? WHAT!!! lol

i dont know forsure if the 2011 3dr has the rs but i have seen 2 3dr rs's in the past week, at first i thought it was a converson but it has the side skirt too.....i will continue looking into this.

as for The VIP RS3200 Plus (CTscott) can this be a dirrect plug and play in my car on the harness? if so i might be looking at picking up the module

Yes, the VIP RS3200 can be added as a plug-n-play. There's a thread on here where someone did so, and I posted the install pdfs in it.

What's so awesome about the VIP RS3200? I got the standard alarm on my 2010 - it works, so I'm ok with it. lol Until I can get something that tases people when they touch my car, I think I'll just stick with this one.

Howeverrrr - the heated mirrors would have been nice!! Dang it. I could have waited a few months ... I just got mine 2 months and 5 days ago. *sigh*

and i was told my car could not come with a alarm..... test yours out, roll down ur window and lock ur door and wait about a min then open it from the outside and see what happens. i have been trying to get a plug and play alarm since i found that out. i was under the impression the car had a alarm from the get go too

as for the 3dr RS, i am extremely pissed.....

I know I have an alarm - I told them I wouldn't but it unless they installed one. So it's that optional TRD alarm, whatever it is. I guess I should pay more attention. I'll run downstairs on lunch break (I work from home) and look at the paperwork to see which one was installed.

Yeah, I'm right there with you on the RS ... that makes me kinda sad :/ I'm stuck with mine though now - I am not doing anything with it, got rid of the Sedan - got the LB, it's modded pretty heavily now and I am not going to think about what could have been.

We don't really need them here in TN either .... but on those random mornings when there is frost on the ground for 20 minutes, we like to complain about how cold it is and how heated seats and things are really needed :P

Heated mirrors would be nice but it's to be expected that new releases will have better features than older models otherwise we would never upgrade.

I hope the 3dr hatch RS model isn't like the Sport's Package. IE, not available even though it's an option.

I was really POed when there wasn't a SINGLE sport packaged yaris available. They didn't even have a Yellow Jolt!

actually i forget where i was looking but apparently the 08 RS came 3dr in some regions and had the same body kit as the 2010 and 11...... i hate how toyota does this.....
