having tint installed tomorrow morning

formula one tint. going with the comfort series. 30% on the sides and 15% on the hatch.

will have pics tomorrow. also bought some turtle wax ICE at walmart the other day. going to wax and shine my baby probably after the tint job. w00t!

you're going to LOVE that wax. if you've ever waxed a car before using regular wax, this stuff is super easy. that and you don't have to be real careful with it like normal wax.

dropped my yaris off about an hour ago. will be going back soon to pick her up. having 30% done on the sides and 15% on the hatch. i decided to have the sides the same % because i don't like the way it looks when the front windows are lighter than the backseat windows. 30% should look good.

The durability of that wax is pretty low. It looks good when you put it on but it won't protect as long as a higher end wax.

i already applied two coats of meguiars gold class wax. the turtle wax ice will be used every other wash between the 6 month intervals when i re-apply the meguiars.

The tint looks awsome,so does the car,I swear that car makes the steelies look good.Ive also got my steelies back on,I want to go ahead and get some use out of them,I live in GA so I dont expect snow this year,but I want to wear them out before NOPI comes back around,then its 17's for the life of the car.

i agree. i took the hubcaps off after i got the tint done. looks so much better. black windows, black wheels, white body. the contrast is perfect. :thumbsup:
