I believe that there are others on here that have lip style spoilers and unless mistaken they only used 3M doublesided adhesive tape like you would use for emblems.

Looking nice YarisSedan, that's exactly what i have. I bought it from ebay. The body kit makes that lip spoiler looks more aggressive. Have u ever thought of taking it off? Man that tape really sticks it on, i am thinking about taking it off. Do you think it will destroy the paint if i take it off?

i do like both but im leaning toward the look of the smaller one that just tapes on kinda the cheap way out but i think it looks cooler

Honestly i dont remember i measured it once and ordered it and it was slightly smaller than i liked. I think i measured the trunk 47 inches like you did but forgot to take into account it curves along the trunk. So it ended up being a little short. I took it off and ordered a new one that was 48 inches

Np matt, i ended up with the oem spoiler finally so the lip is in the house basement. I don't know why but on a dark car it looks great but on mine i wasn't sure... Anyways hehe.

so yo incase this was hard to follow i told them 47.5 inches and color code and it was shipped extremely fast you might need someone to help put it on though me and my friend did it each take a side start in the middle and work your way out along the edge of the trunk just make sure you line it up we used the middle of the toyota emblem as a guide
