Hey, going to hold another meet for anyone interested in doing another run in December.

I'm pretty flexible with the date change if needed

December 3rd, 2010

Meet at Ocean Supermarket @ 8:00pm
2 S Park Victoria Dr
Milpitas, CA 95035
We'll meet together there, eat and greet, and take off going from Calaveras to Sierra

According to google maps the cruise is:
12.3 miles and it'll take us 25 minutes

the Marin meet will also be in December, why not just combine em? a long day of meet, from Marin cruise through HWY 35 (my new favorite road) through SJ to Calaveras.

Oh that sucks! If you can make it to Oakland, I can help you put a new CV shaft in. I have a garage to do the work in.

Also, I like what Sean is saying about back to back meets, or we could do it as Calaveras Fri night and MV Sat morning (around 11 AM) We should really pick a date soon tho, its coming up fast..less than 10 days till Calaveras. should we ask Garm again if he can definitely come that day?

hopefully my car will be good for Saturday. Its a testimony to Toyota metal used in the cv half shaft is stronger than Cusco coilover metal, if one becomes the lathe and the other the shaped material.

I ordered a CV boot kit today, getting it from TRDSparks was cheaper than my local dealership, plus i save on taxes and handling fee (yeah i know..) plus the fact that they would have me wait to next wednesday or drive to Hayward to pick one up. Im gonna take it to my mechanic buddy to get fixed, thanks for the offer tho Taylor. Whats in Oakland btw? your shop?

I can't go, I'm right in the middle of moving, living out of boxes, etc.. and my Yaris is filthy.
Pooooor Yaris has been hauling stuff and working really hard lately.
Needs a huge wash inside out, clay bar treatment and a good coat of wax or three :frown:

Nope, just me and my garage LOL, it's just a nice place to work in case you don't have anywhere to jack up the car without getting run over cause i know how much of a pain in the a** it is to try to do it on the side of the street LOL.

my new wheels will hopefully be on by then

it's going to be hell trying to get the coilovers adjusted by then but i'll certainly give it a good shot

I drove into a giant puddle that same Friday night and ended up hitting a curb. The bottom side of the car has a long scuff mark and hubcap was cracked with red paint.

I'm tempted to get better tires but I can't justify spending $300+ when I still have a good amount of tread left. Than again, it can be looked at avoiding $300+ worth of damage.

my replacement CV boot kit doesnt arrive till saturday... So its a no go for me.
Plus i couldnt have gone anyways, have something thing else i have to go to. Sucks...bascialy 3 weeks without my car.

Love those fog lights Alex!

Sean's car is.....absurd..it keeps feeling faster every time he changes his wheel/tire setup haha.

It was nice and chill.

Yup. very cool meet but wish there were more people. Even people with stock cars are welcome.

It's first and foremost about meeting people and having a good time. The cars come second.
