Hello!!!!!I'm new in forum and i'm finding really interesting your topics!! So i have a question about something.....Because there are no audio outs in the stock head unit can i connect a sub without an amplifier?? I search and i found that you can do this if you conect the 2 front or rear speakers in a rca adapter box and then to the sub is this works....??And Something else...The sub needs power-ground??Thank's a lot!!!!

uhhh

dude, you will HAVE to use an amplifier of some kind.

now, you CAN use the high inputs from your rear speakers to get a signal for the sub. i'd recommend against it, but then again i like good clean bass

Here check this thread, I did everything with the stock head unit and it sounds great (I'm not new to car audio either), some may doubt the quality but with the correct set-up you can acheive premium sound from the stock unit, but the key is good quality components (nothing generic from the auto parts store or such) You will definately have to have a Line Output Converter, these have high input (standard wire) and adjustable low output (rca connectors) out to reduce the amperage coming from the stock unit to whatever amp you have installed.

Best Buy sells an Infinity 200W self-powered 8 inch that sounded wonderful. I believe it was about $200. Forgot about that option.
