Made someone have Yaris envy today

So I was at the bank drive-thru today and the teller said that she really liked my car. I had just gotten done washing and detailing it and she asked if it was a Toyota Yaris.

I told her that it was :) The bank teller said that she wishes that she had one because it looked sharp and that her current set of wheels only gets 22mpg. She almost flipped when I told her my combined city / highway MPG is almost double that :thumbup:

One more kudos for the yaris fan club. :headbang:

Ha! That reminds me, last week I ran into a young (20 yrs younger then me anyway) lady friend, and we got caught up on what we were both up to, I of of course mentioned my recent purchase on my '08 Yaris and trip to Michigan and back to buy it. She told me her DAD also had a Yaris! Great.... I drive the same type of car her father drives... she did think it was "cute" however.

Did she know a Prius gets close to 50 mpg but costs $10,000 more? I might buy a Prius next but I don't like the body shape as much as other models. And the rear taillights look strange.
