Hey guys I am trying to install a bulldog remote starter rs1100 system and i am having an issue with it.

issue when i press the button it will crank than dies?
any clue.

I was thinking my wiring off since i found a thread on here and also using the bulldog wire diagram and they are both way different not even close.

so what do you guys think it is. (yes i have the bypass module) maybe someone on here have the same setup and made it work successfully. :D thanks for the reply.

I don't know anything about Bulldog but there is one thing you can try. Put your key in the ignition but don't turn it on and then remote start it. That will tell you if your bypass is working or not. If the car starts and stays running the bypass isn't working. If it still shuts off something else is wrong. I don't know if the Bulldog has a tach signal or if it is voltage sensing.

If it starts and then dies, typically that means that your tach wire is not correct. If it cranks and doesn't start, then you are dealing with a transponder key bypass issue.
