I'm looking at getting a heated seat kit for my 2009 LB. Looking at the seats, it looks like the center stitching on the seat and the back extend into the foam and are used for holding the cover in place. Has anyone taken the seat covers off before? Or know what kind of kit would fit?

Thanks in advance.

microimageonline.com have some great cheap clazzios, you may be able to fit heat pads underneath :)

I separated the the fabric from the foam on the bottom portion of one of Crashy's seats. It's doable, but tedious, as they are glued together. It would definitely be easier to install the heaters with a set of the Clazzio seat covers.

Scott, you said what I feared, that they are glued together. All other seats I've dealt with had removable covers. I guess gluing them was the cheapest way for our cars. Thanks for the heads-up Scott. I guess I'll have to re-think heated seats for this winter!

Every fall my wife reminds me that I promised to add seat heaters to the Yaris back when I bought the Clazzio leather covers.
