Hello all
First post here. First post about new car.
I have already mapped out everything and parts wise to install my new stereo/amp/sub/6x9 set. Even down to connecting the steering wheel controls to the new system. But for the life of me i cant figure out what to do with the part highlighted in the picture (Attatched). I don't know if it can still be used in conjunction with a new stereo, or completely removed or what. I dont see it working with the controls of a aftermarket stereo. It really is a silly design, breaking the stereo into 2 parts. But hey, they made it. Is there anywhere or any suggestions of what can be done with it. Even like a spacer or extra glovebox.
