1 carat princess cut diamond; purchased from Kay Jewelers 3 years for $3,999; they are now $2,999 - it is NOT a LEO diamond and has no certification papers. I don't know the cut/clarify/color because again, it's not certified. It is a very very good diamond though - I don't like ugly diamonds, I just also didn't want to pay $7k for a rock so opted for the uncertified instead of the certified; there is 1 tiny inclusion that if you don't angle it just right and know it's there and look in that exact spot - you'll never see it. I can try to get a picture of it, but it is seriously that hard to see the camera probably won't pick it up.

Beautiful diamond, I was going to keep it and have it set in a necklace - but I need the money now to pay off my credit cards. This was the first diamond in my wedding set before we upgraded, and it has just been hanging out with my wedding set since I am no longer married.

I want this thing to go to a good home to someone who will love it as much as I do  It would be a great Christmas present, or if you're just looking for a very nice price for an upgrade on your existing set.

i agree. also see if you can get a local jeweler to give you some type of writeup on it for cheap. Some type of rough grading is better than nothing at all.

appraisals around here are about $50. I think you'd make the $50 back on the sale because the buyer will know exactly what they are getting.

I'd be tempted if you'll do that.

I was actually thinking about doing that, the local jeweler here in town said they would have it appraised but it takes like two weeks to get back, so I was hoping to sell it in less time than that - however, it's already been for sale for a week so I may as well just send it off. I'm gonna call her in the morning and see when she can get it appraised; I'll even call Kay Jewelers and see if they would do it for free since my ex and I spent about $35k with them over our 4 years of marriage lol
