Hello everyone,

I have a 2007 Toyota Yaris S which I bought as a certified used car at local Toyota dealership. It was close to 2 yrs old when I purchased it and now it is on the 3 rd year.

It just happened all of a sudden, my air conditioner stopped working yesterday.

I just had maintenance a few days ago at Toyota and nothing was wrong with it..so I wasn't really sure how this happened...

so I brought my car to other car service place (not Toyota) then people there told me my car AC must have a leak on somewhere.

Is that possible to have a leak on only 3 yrs old car?
Also, How much does it usually cost to fix the leak on AC?

I would deeply appreciate if you could help me with this.

Thank you.

What did they do service-wise on the car?

Is the AC compressor actually engaging when you turn the AC on?

Buy a A/C recharge kit from Walmart or an Auto parts store and charge it back up. Very simple and cheap. If you turn on the A/C and hear the compressor cycle on and off (clicking sound) it probably low on freon.
