I recently installed a remote start system and got it to start the car but it will not work with my existing keyless entry/alarm system.
When I start the car with the remote it starts the car and sets the car alarm on. I know this is because the alarm system works with the 12v ignition wire to determine if someone is turning the key. I don't know a simple way around this. I would also like my keyless entry to work when I use my remote start. If anyone can help thanks.
