A few years ago I had a post on the method that I used to install fog lights without having to go through the firewall. The Yaris' are "pre-wired" to accept aftermarket fog light kits. Here is a zip file attached that contains a doc file of the procedure.

Can't believe I find it!
I tried to install an after market fog lamp kit, but during the process I was more and more suspicious that my 09 yairs sedan was actually pre-wired for fog lamps.
Thank you very much!

I have a made in Japan Yaris for the Euro market. It's a bit more complicated with us. We have some of the wiring for the fog lamps. We already have the fog lamp relay for a rear fog lamp (an extra bright red bulb so drivers can see us) as standard. But no front lamps. The pins in the engine bay fuse box are not connected to anything on either end.

I would have to piggy back current from the switched side of the fog light relay and go through the bulkhead in order to power my front fog lamps. I have a cheap harness and the lamps from a scrapyard. I just haven't got round to doing it yet.
