you sit still when your lights are on dont you...happens because heat rises. but as you move air cools the lens. happens with the projectors that ppl get on ebay. i've seen several on gmc/chevy and ford trucks that have melted lenses.

o the pic isnt yours. Werid that someone would run without a light shield. I got smoke damage in my driver side light from putting a hotter bulb in the parking light one. Too lazy to open it up to clean, its only slightly noticeable. Really gotta check the bulb wattages, more consume power doesnt always mean brighter, but will most likely mean burn hotter and could cause this. Tho if its stock...mmm, take it to the dealer?

BTW, hows the throttle controller? Im loving mine on Eco5, its always on that makes going to Sports 7 feel like boost.

throttle controller ?
love it it is the best thing of the car :)
I use it mostly on the highway where I use Eco 3 mode and am able to save 1 liter per 100 Km :)
sport mode is fun too but haven't tried eco6 and 7 yet :) I am little bit worried :D

There are more countries in the world than the United States. . . and I'm American. So in fact, it's actually more weird to run with one. . . as it does nothing but block light output.

The Yaris for most markets in the world do not include a light shield. It's not necessary nor required on closed end bulbs for most countries (notice that an H4 bulb has the tip painted over with a non-translucent material). The only time you really need those things are when you use open end bulbs like a 9005, 9006, or H3. It's not just the Yaris, the Jazz (Fit to you guys), March, Swift, and most other cars with H4 9003 bulbs do NOT have shields. And clear corners. . . no need for nasty orange reflectors up front.

I think that the layer on the parabola isn't resistant enough to the heat produced by the bulb thus mean the producer is not meeting the quality standards.

And sorry... Didn't mean to sound so snide. Yeah, probably a bad bulb.
