I have a Black 1992 Volvo 740 for sale. CHEAP!! Read the details below!
It was recently involved in a parking lot accident on November 27th, 2010.
To make a long story short, a man in a truck backed into us, at no more than 2-4 miles per hour and crumpled up the hood a bit. He also managed to scuff the top of the bumper, break my grill, and loosen up the headlight assembly on the passenger side only.
On the good side:
-The car runs STRONG
-The engine had been totally REBUILT less than 15K miles ago with a brand-new aluminum head (retained the original cast iron block) have receipts to show (over $3,000 in maintenence)
-You won't believe me, but it's a 4 cylinder (2.3L) decent mileage
-Fully loaded (for its time) all leather, ABS, AC blows COLD
-LOTS OF room in the trunk
-Plenty of tread left on my Kumho tires
-Oil and oil filter changed out at 2,500 mile intervals with Mobil 1 oil
-Tags are up to date until April, 2011
-Passes smog
-212,XXX miles on the chassis (less than 15K miles on the rebuilt motor)
On the bad side:
-the car is a SALVAGE title.
-It's stupid, but you have to fix the hood to make it drivable (they believe that freeway speeds will make the hood unlatch, spring upward, and block your field of vision, and cause an accident)
-BUT, I've been driving the car since then on the 101 with no problems (the hood is literally ceased to the frame) other than that, it's good to go.
Since I won't have room for 3 cars, this will have to go.
So, I'm selling it HELLA CHEAP -- $400obo takes it!
