I owned three CRX's and I loved them. I absolutely love the looks of the CR-Z, hybrid or not, it's out of my price range of affordable new cars. Otherwise I'd have one of those instead of my Yaris. I care more about looks, handling and price than performance.

Bisimoto made a beast of a crz

yea, still got my 89 crx.. i am personally a performance/handling kinda guy. i was very dissapointed when i test drove the cr-z. i opted for the yaris cuz of potential.. i think the Fit looks retarded personally.. BUT if they follow threw with the all motor cr-z, i may be looking into trading the yaris... but that wont be for a few years im sure.

bisimoto did an amazing crz, but your talking about spending an ass load of money for that.. i like to autocross so small modifications to a stock car is what i am all about.

Sounds like the CR-Z has not been the hit Honda hoped for. I haven't heard from owners, but the reviews I've seen all seem to be pretty unimpressed by it. It sounds like it disappoints in the performance category for a sports car, and that it disappoints in the fuel economy category for a hybrid. My first car was a CRX, so I see this as kind of a shame for Honda to miss the mark in both ways here, where being a "sports hybrid" was the big selling point. I wonder how customers will react to it being offered in a different format, ie turbo, non-hybrid.

Remove the dumb hybrid parts and I'll surely be interested in one.

i have no problems with hybrids and i believe toyota with thier transmissions in thier hybrids can put out some SERIOUS horse power.. they run on a giant magnet.. and use the pulses of magnetic force to spin the drivetrain.. the power is there.. they just need to unleash it.

i however do think the honda hybrid isnt much of a hybrid but more of a boost for the engine.. whateves though.. honda did flop on its ass when they came out with the cr-z sports hybrid.. and if they do come out with that n/a cr-z or turbo in the states u can surely count on me getting one.. ill go in debt to get it

This car had a crazy launch in Japan, and I saw at least 3 each day, but in the Kansai area (Kyoto, Osaka, etc) barely ANY.....

I like it, but performance wise, it was not enough to fork out its' price tag cash.
