Hi there,
Having been driving 1.3L MT version Yaris for nearly a year from brand new. Not if I need to change the antifreeze fluid.
I checked some reference mentioning after 150,000km....
Any advice is welcome.
Thanks.

I think word is 100,000 miles/3 years.
Cost $23 for a gallon of Toyota pink original pre-mix. It takes just under a gallon.
I flushed with some distiller water, just took a five minute drive with the pure water.
There's a drain plug on the bottom of the reservoir, you can fit a bottle underneath to collect. Don't make the mistake I did of replenishing the reservoir instead of the coolant hose.

there's no need in changing the coolant, my vote is don't.

Well if we're voting, my vote is: its just $20. Skip a meal. If it makes you feel any better, do it. Just don't pay $250 for it at the dealership.

If you only have 1 year on that antifreeze, I wouldn't change it. The long life anti-freeze we use today should last for years. Not only would you be wasting money, but anytime you do an unnecessary repair on your car, you run the risk of something going wrong.
