Just rotated my Bridgestone 185 60R 15 again at 25,000 miles. Thinking from the looks of the tread that I can get 50 -60k on these tires. Has anyone got over 50,000 miles on their original tires?

I felt that I had to change mine after only about 20k because they began to hydroplane when they really should not have.

why?

The manufacturer treadlife rating is 40,000 miles. I don't understand why these Bridgestones cost as much as they do and yet they are one of the worse rated tires you can buy. Automakers could save a bundle and put much better tires that cost much less.
Bridgestone is just a popular OEM brand though.
