So this weekend fnkngrv made his way up to my neck o' the woods in Jackson, TN for a visit and to kill some time on the rainy miserable Saturday, we went and checked out a new museum that a local guy named Rusty just opened up. He was a private auto collector of original movie/tv cars and reproduction movie/tv cars and recently opened the doors to a pretty rockin' little museum.

Here are some pictures that Adrian snapped while we were in there - I only had my camera phone, so thankfully he came prepared!

I would also like to add that Paul Walker actually sat in the Eclipse <3 <3 <3

Erm ... if you want some of the descriptions of the vehicles, you'll have to wait until Adrian can get on here and comment about the ones I don't know ... I was clueless about some of them because they were from shows/movies I've never seen.

The actual car from the show 'Mantis'

A Delorian ... not from any movie, it's just really cool - and it was one of the first ones because it still has the gas lid opening on the hood and the hood curves in it

The only remaining Mustang from the movie DeathRace, the 2nd one was bought back, used for the 2nd movie then destroyed due to excessive damage - this thing is pure muscle car sex. But, I have a bit of a thing for the Mustang ;) so I may be a bit biased lol

I just found out like 30 seconds ago that this isn't even a real Lambo ... it's a 89 Fiero GT ... but it's a hell of a replica lol Oh, it's a replica of the Coutach from the Cannonball Run movie

thanks for the pics! brought back some good memories of my personal 'golden age' of television.

it's interesting how some cars are famous just for being in a movie/on tv and others are so iconic they're the first thing you think of when remembering a particular tv show/film(ie. general lee, knight rider, delorian, etc.).

the red coyote is from hardcastle and mccormick(i remembered the car, but forgot the title - luckily, the model box of the car is in the passenger seat).

made me think of some others that would be neat to see:

the van from the a-team
face's corvette from a-team
ferrari from magnum p.i.(obviously would have to be a replica $$$$)
motorcycle from streethawk(kind of like the helicopter from airwolf, but a motocycle)

sorry, i'm a child of the 80's and i'm sure there's much more iconic ones out there. still, that's a really cool collection that person has!
