I got into an accident and the drivers side airbag is out. I bought a replacement for it and now i'm trying to replace it. I'm having trouble removing the airbag because 2 of the electrical cords that are attached to the airbag looked burned and I can't seem to detach them from the car. Can someone please help me? I'm not sure if there is something I need to press to release them.
Thank you!

Make Sure the battery is disconnected, wait at least 90 seconds before doing anything.
Lift the center part of each clip with a screwdriver first, then the clip itself.
Be Careful! Don't sue me if this fails!
Good Luck!

The connectors usually melt when the airbag deploys. Even if you can get them off, you should at least replace the connectors. They are part of the spiral cable (which is very expensive to replace), but you can buy a set of non-melted connectors off ebay and splice them on to the existing spiral cable wires.
