BUT, the year before it was around freezing and it snowed...soooo...
It would be sweet if you could make it out though. I'm working on a helmet right now...

It should be under the Registration tab ? Looking forward to seeing you there. They do have a deal right now. Pay for 4 days get the fifth for free.

Hmm...i'll check it out! Do they always run the same direction (counterclockwise)?
I figure they must since that would be what the times are based on...but just a guess.
Will you be signing up for 5? :-O

02-10-2011, 10:36 PM
I wish I could. Saving for the coilovers, tires and rims. But I do plan to go to all 5. They are less crowded.
johnny_vitz
02-10-2011, 10:42 PM
What coilovers/rims/tires you going to get?
Theres a nice set of rota's on kijiji right now with yoko advan ad08's on them
Wants $950 though

You'd be better off going with some Koni's and use the springs you have now.

02-12-2011, 11:02 AM
Really ??? Why would you say that ?? To stiff ?? Bad quality ?? Talk to me I am very interested in getting the best bang for my buck.

I think it's the lack of rebound adjustment. They're just fixed rate.
soloecho2
02-13-2011, 07:57 AM
According to what I read they have 16 positions that adjust compression and rebound together.
johnny_vitz
03-14-2011, 09:49 PM
That's the reason I dislike mine, they're great driving around town but pretty soft for track use. No adjustability
Did you pick up the teins?
soloecho2
03-15-2011, 12:10 AM
Yes I did. Right after I did the o2 sensor took a crap. I hope to install them in late April early May. I'll also be getting the toyo r1rs or the star specs. Anyone have a preference ??
johnny_vitz
03-15-2011, 12:59 AM
I like my toyo's (ra-1)...but hear good things about the star spec's too.
Make sure you get a good alignment once the coilovers go in! You may want to consider adding camber adjustment bolts in the front while the struts are out anyways.
Btw, have you registered for may 22? I tried again today but paypal rejected me lol apparently I need to verify with a bank account...

Yes and no. They have me down for the 22nd but I am saving the pay for 4 and get the 5th free.

Track day #3 is now history. The car is once again holding up well. Had to do the brakes when I got home. I really think on this track even with only 100 HP I need a LSD. I am having issues when going uphill though the twisties. Any ideas ? Whos comming out for August ? Pics are posted on Sigmas Web page from May and June. Their Facebook page has some from July.

Have you done you clutch yet?
soloecho2

No the clutch is still holding well. Its not slipping. I know this because when I step on the gas the RPMs and Speed are still going up together.

Can we start a list or a new "Official" kind of Thread to who is signed up for Sigma events and we'll just keep it rolling as new events start up. Or you can combine Sigma and Touge just so everyone who's going or thinking about going can see who'll be there.

I am but I don't wanna go alone. Te-he.
Also have to figure out why my car keeps flashing the CEL when I go WOT running through the gears.
soloecho2
09-01-2011, 08:41 PM
I will be there so you won't be alone. Isn't the flashing CEL a miss at full throttle ?
Bluevitz-rs
09-01-2011, 09:27 PM
yeah, if I run the car from a stop at full throttle shifting at 6K through to 5th the CEL will start to flash indicating it's running lean and burning the cat.
