Problem: Racing seats make the steering wheel too high.
Solution: unbolt the steering column, lower it a bit, and bolt in some inserts. I cut some pieces from 1.5" square steel tubing, then drilled a hole in one end and a slot in the other. The slot makes it a little easier to slide it onto the upper stud that used to secure the steering column. The result is pretty low (great for racing), 1" might be a little better for street driving and getting in and out of the car.
