Hello Everyone,

I’ve looked around for new struts for my 01 echo/yaris. I have new sensatrack shocks in the rear (2 months old) and its time to replace the front shocks. I'm pretty sure the springs are still good and I don't want to lower my car. It seems my options are:

Monroe Sensa-Trac; Front w/ 0 in. Lift/Drop; Sedan (4 Door) Features:
• Features position sensitive damping and the safe tech system
• Includes a bronze reinforced rod guide bearing for consistent performance
• Contains all weather fluid for smooth rod reaction
• Rod displaced valving adjusts to road extremes for a comfortable ride
• Backed by a limited warranty

The other option I have found is:

KYB GR2 -- Front; Recommended OE Replacement Features:
• Designed to restore handling and control
• Made from quality material
• Features twin-tube design
• Compensates worn suspensions
• Facilitates easy installation

When the rear shocks were changed I noticed the ride was firmer (obviously because the prior ones were worn). Anyone have any suggestions? I think the sensa has nitrogen and variable valve, I don’t know about the GR2. I know kyb makes other shocks but I don't think they will fit my car.

I like my TRD sport struts... they are a good middle ground comfort. I find when i load the car up it feels great! just what i need for those longer trips.

I got them from Sparks Toyota...Great Costumer service! Fast shipping, great price compared to the dealership.

I cant remember, but they are made by another company for TRD Toyota.
You might be able to only buy the set of struts and shocks.
Im not sure if the Yaris and the Echo are the same size Shocks and Struts.

I'd go with the Monroes. TRDs and KYBs are gonna be stiffer and more high performance for use with lowering springs.
I have sensatracs on the xB F/R and LOVE them way better than the OEM struts and shocks.
