I really think for the DIY threads there should be a list at the top post that states clearly which car the DIY will work on. For example:

"VEHICLES VERIFIED WORKING FOR XYZ MOD

2007-2008 hatchback
2007-2008 sedan
2010 sedan"

VEHICLES VERIFIED NOT WORKING FOR XYZ MOD

2009 HATCHBACK
2009 SEDAN
2010 HATCHBACK

something to that effect

it's kind of a hot mess with the wiper blade stalk replacement (now in two threads)

I think it would help cut down on all the "WILL THIS WORK?" threads

Sounds like a good idea. It might make sense to also add which areas the mode works for (as I've answered the question about if cruise control will work on my Yaris from _____ many times).
