What was the first song you played in your car? and/or what song do you play specifically for this car? If you have a CD player what was the first CD played?

Can't remember the first songs played, I've had the car since September, but I have a cd with all my previous car music (12 or 13 cd's) burned in wma format so I don't have to change disks every time I get bored... just flip folders! Tastes run alternative/hard rock at the moment. :cool:

Don't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure it was Green Day since that was a mp3 CD I had in my previous car.
I've burned a lot of cds for this car: in my previous car I used my portable mp3 player, so no need for cds :P

My car was radio delete, so the first song that was played was actually when i installed my aftermarket stereo and speakers,subs,amps,ect.

I use one song for "dialing in" my system, Escape by KayCee (trance/techno), I use that song cause it is very revealing to the systems highs and lows and lets me accuratly set up the EQ and subs just how i want them.

i have 2 favorite cd's i like to listen to in my little yaris.

The first cd is the garden state soundtrack - it REALLY helps calm down and get mellow on my way to and from work.

My second cd is ATB which is techno for the weekends or for when passengers ride in my car. Techno is fun for everyone.. lol :)

Now, I just stick to XM Radio, mostly hip-hop and alternative.

First CD played was Thrice - If We Could Only See Us Now. It was still in my head unit from when it was installed in my old first-gen Eclipse.

The new Killswitch Engage and Mushroomhead albums have been getting some heavy rotation as of late... alse been listening to Emiliana Torrini's "Fisherman's Woman" and "Gish" by none other than the last great rock band, the Smashing Pumpkins. :biggrin:
