In your guys (and gals) experiences, do the OEM headlights come apart easy so I can gain access in the chrome part for a lil DIY? Thanks in advance.

Search 'projector retrofit'.
Most report separating the lens from the housing to be relatively easy.

And yes they are easy to open, and as Wee yari mentioned threads on retrofit, good luck

Thanks for the replies guys. Don't have my Yaris yet, but wanted to get an idea of what I'm up against. Thanks again.

i did it with no heat and a screwdriver. fingers hurt an hour later, but i did it at work on a slow day...
worth it alone to acquire the ball of amazingly sticky stuff that OE used to glue them together. a bit no the end of a pen makes a very entertaining workplace weapon. i can stick one to a fellows back from 20ft...

How in did you open the headlight with no heat, no wonder your fingers are hurtin afterwards if you don't want to use a oven then a blow dryer will do just fine and they come apart real easy that way

Put in in your oven at the lowest temp for about ten minutes or untill u see it starting to spread than pop it out and pull it apart, as for putting it back together, put it in the oven just to heat it than push it back together
