Did a search but didn't find this. Is there a comprehensive list of all other model's wheels that will fit the Yaris? Thanks for any help, Bill C

Any wheel that is:

15"-20" in diameter
6.5"-8" in width
4x100 bolt pattern
35-42 Offset

Will fit the yaris

I'd take it further than that and include 14" (I think I've seen someone here use 13" before), and as for width, any width really (stock is 5.5") and the wider you go, the more chances of rubbing. Lower offset would fit too, just be prepared for more rubbing.

And if the center bore isn't 54.1mm, then I'd get some hubcentric rings to bring it down to that (not required, but recommended) (if the initial CB is smaller than that, then it won't fit without boring it out).

I guess I need to be more specific. Are there any other cars that have the 54.1" center bore along with the other specs? Other than the Echo are there any other Toyota models that will bolt on without modification? If I understand correctly, the wheels are supported by the hub vs the stud/lugs. Sorry for all the questions but I am interested in running 14" wheels with a taller sidewall height. Thanks, Bill C

Here's a list that I found back when I was searching for cheap rims on ebay. I am not sure how accurate it is, and I am sure that some of the ones listed would require hubcentric rings. Since the Yaris hub size is about as small as it gets, you don't have to worry about the opposite issue of the wheel's hub being too small.

If I understand correctly, the wheels are supported by the hub vs the stud/lugs.

Companies that sell "custom hub centric" wheels would like you to believe so but in reality the lugs support and center the wheels. If you think about it, most wheels use taper seat lugs. This will locate the wheel absolutely. If you try to center the wheel with the hub as well, there is a potential for conflict so there has to be some tolerance somewhere. Because of the lugs' tapered seats, the tolerance has to be built into the hub. I have a set of Volk TE37 on my Miata. As you know, they are extremely well made and they came with aluminum "hub centering rings". The machining of the wheel is so good that the when the lugs are torqued, the "centering rings" just float and are loose inside the hub. OTOH, hub centering is probably a good idea for wheels with shank style lugs and yet I can't think of any such wheels.

Having said all that, in short, "hub centricity" is just to make it easier to bolt the wheel to the hub especially cars that use lug bolts instead of nuts (some volkswagens, porsche, and BMW, for example).

german wheels us lug bolts...bmw, mercedes and vw/audi.

just another good reason not to super-tighten the first lug before you get all of them seated properly. get them all in there and against the wheel before you torque.

ALWAYS TIGHTEN ALL LUGS TO THE WHEEL BEFORE YOU START YOUR TORQUE PROCESS...

just thought i'd say it again before anyone decides to gripe at me for sayin it....it's always a good thing to hear again. ya know, keeps rotors free from warps, keeps wheels on cars...u know, just good housekeeping...or car-keeping.

Just wanted to add for anyone currently shopping for winter tires, 14 inch rims with 185-65r14 fit well. that's what I have for my winters at the moment. I also have 15 inch 5 star/spoke chromes(i painted them silver due to pitting and peeling) from an old celica that were a direct fit with 205-50r15. These rims also came on the mr2, they look great on the yaris with the trd springs.
