approx how long has it been on the car?
and will it fit in a sedan?

The picture above is it installed in the sedan. Also I have had it for around 2 years, removed each winter. I have never had a CEL with it installed.

Yes a CEL is a check engine light. I just chose to remove it in the winter. you really don't have to.
