I just purchased an air filter wrap for my cold air intake because I got a little worried after a pretty heavy rain we had here and my filter got SOAKED has anyone tried one of these and how well did it work out for ya?

My cousin drives a civic and his CAI is right behind his fog light. His car is dropped low, and that filter is just inches off the ground. He never had a problem with rain. Just to be clear, he lives in SoCal, but we do get rain every now and then.

i agree, the CAI i have seen so far on the yaris dont really drop really low. and they are well hidden behind the bumper and if you keep your wheel well plastic on, you definitely wont get water soaked from a couple puddles. just avoid water that raises past the door, but that should be a given

my apoligies. i misread the OP. i thought you were about to get one and was worried about yours getting SOAKED and asking what our opinions are on the CAI's.

No I didnt get a CEL I probably was jus bein paranoid after I got it wet because it was the first real heavy rain we have had since I put on the intake.

ok, got it. this should be under 'performance' anyways, instead of forced induction?
