Sorry for the noob questions, but if I took my stock Yaris into a Tire Kingdom and asked them to lower the suspension by an inch and bring the wheels flush with the body, what am I looking to spend? $500? $1000?

First off, what wheels or rims will you be using? And what springs did you have in mind? I find it a lot cheaper if you DIY instead so you can feel better about your ride, till this day I've done all my mods myself. First answer the questions posted to see what's your idea and we can take it from there.

penguin spacer are 70$
springs are anything from 100 - 200$

thats material cost.
then the service center will charge you triple that and rip you off, lol jk but yeah they will charge quite a bit I would think.

Ive had a local garage install lowering springs for about $80. This is NYC and labor costs more. The trick is to be knowledgable about what you're asking them to do.

I recommend familiarizig yourself with the diy instructions so that you are in more of a position to bargain.
