Hey guys. I had some work done at the dealer and for them to get access to a wire harness (ABS harness), they had to remove my rear seat and some trim around the rear seat area, but it does not look like they would have needed to remove any of the rear seat floor box trim, but I noticed what looks like I am missing one of the trim plugs that holds the floor box plastic trim in place.

Does anyone mind checking your sedan if you have a missing trim plug? It is the centre one just under the seat on the front if you were to lift up the seat a bit.

Thanks guys.

Is that a plug or, is it a screw/fastener that is missing?

Good question, that is basically what I am trying to find out...

Is that a plug or, is it a screw/fastener that is missing?

If I'm looking at the correct thing in the EPC, there's a plastic "clip" that should be in there:

Well I just ran out and looked in my sedan and mines apparently missing to, I cant think of any repair I have had done that would have required the seats removed:iono:

If the clip disappeared after service, then this is my #1 pet peeve against dealerships. I've never had a pleasant experience with any dealer, regardless of brand. I had 3 radios put into my 2000 IS300 (the first year model was a complete and utter piece of junk). Each time they did the work, they ended up scratching up something, or leaving dirty fingerprints all over the beige interior, seats, etc.

What is it about dealership service departments? Are they any less performance oriented or any less dependent on return customers than other non-dealer shops?
