Does anybody know how the number of Yaris S 3door liftbacks produced?
I don't think I have seen another one like mine in my neck of the woods...

This was an earlier thread I happen to post about a year ago.
I have a 2008 ''S'' 3 dr hatch
After everyones opinion and input it turned out to be about 1 ''S'' sold for every 50 hatches sold. So, 1 in 50
I look every day and I see an ''S'' 3 dr hatch about every 6 months here in So Cal.
Very few, you have a keeper

Here's mine;

Sweet! I did a search and didnt pull up what I was looking for, but you nailed it.
The white looks nice...I have a hard time keeping my black one clean, thankfully I wax after every wash so it sprays off easily :burnrubber:

zbouncer, thanks
You'll find yourself (if you do already) looking for other ''S'' hatches.
Since I've had mine, I've seen 5 or 6 ''S'' in the 2.5 years of owning one.
Just take good care of it and hang on to it.
The guys and gals on this site are great for advice and input when it comes to any MODS or general questions you might have.
I got the White cause even when dirty, its still white.
The only ''S'' advice I can give you is, DO NOT debadge. Keep the ''S'' logo on the rear hatch!!
Best of luck with your cool ''S''

You know it, I plan on having this one until the wheels come off!
I not to sure about modding it or not, I like the way it looks stock and the only mods I would consider would be some TRD rims and springs for a better ride height and look...but we all know that once you commit to a mod its hard to stop modding! :eyebulge:

God bless Texas, and Remember the Alamo (the battle happened there 175 years ago as we speak)!

zbouncer, I've seen several S's around SA; there's a red one in my neighborhood (I'm just south of Helotes) and I see one on Military near Lackland all the time. I believe I saw a black one at North Star Toyota down at 410 & IH-35 about two years ago, soon after I got mine (in Oct 08). That's not the one you got, is it?

I've noticed more and more Yarii lately, could be the sudden rise in gas prices here; but I've still been driving the Jeep so I haven't been able to hand out any YW cards. I even parked next to a nice red one at the Bandera Pointe Target a little while ago. It's nice seeing them around!

Cheers! M2

p.s. Since we're asking, where's "RI?" Oh, I think I know! It's that little piece of property up in the northeast part of the country sandwiched between Connecticut and Massachusetts. I keep forgetting that it's there because down here in Texas we've got ranches (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Ranch) that are bigger than that entire state (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhode_Island)!

The Alamo was a grand battle and goes to show what a few brave hearts can do :smoking:

I'm north 281 & Hollywood Park area, and I have def seen a lot more Yari around but have yet to see a LBS in the past 2yrs of Yari ownership, but I'm sure the de-badging has something to do with it. Well I hope SAT has a Yaris Meet soon so we can meet and greet :drinking:

That's the one!
We actually live on a little island in the middle of the bay - about 9 miles long by a half-mile wide. Wouldn't even qualify as a back yard down in your part of the world.

I've always been confused by that...how can this entire state call itself an 'island?!?'

http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/images/usa/rhode-island.jpg

But you're in that bit just above where it says 'Narragansett Bay?' Or is it the island just NE of it?

Cheers! M2
