Quick, Easy and Cheap mod

Had an idea for a cheap subtle mod.
I blacked out the lower grill using black electrical tape but leaving the thin verticle lines in color.
It matches more with the upper one now.

I'll try and get a pic soon.

Did the exact same thing last autumn as a spur of the moment thing. The tape has lasted through the winter and the effect is subtle yet makes the front look smarter.

That sounds good but wouldn't work for '09+ cars, since the lower grilles were all black anyway. Would still like to see a pic.

One time i did the oposite, taped de vertical ones and it lokked good also

how long til it gets sticky, droopy, dusty? some black vinyl-cover paint would be a better choice IMHO

i taped mine off and sprayed it. took for ever to tape though because i didn't want any sharp angels. well worth it.
