Hi! I have been in the process of jumping back and forth between hids for the past 6 months because every time I receive a pair, one of the bulbs are not working. So I just wanted to see if anyone can give me an opinion on these. I definitely don't want to pay more than $100, but I also don't want to get something cheap and end up with the same problem. I would really appreciate any responses. Thanks!

There's a guy on here that can help you out...

Goes by the name Garm... runs microimageonline.com

Sells HID kits:
MicroImage Online Store: HID Kits (http://shop.microimageonline.com/HID-kits_c26.htm)

Yes. I'm very familiar with Garm's products since I've purchased many things from him. But I'm looking for 30,000k hids. Thus, I was hoping someone may give me insight on that.

Why do you want 30,000k? You do know that visibility is greatly reduced, right?

Well I've had 30,000k before and I had a great experience with them. I saw a huge difference between stock bulbs. Plus I didn't want to go with the typical white or blue. And I know many people are thinking "have fun with the cops", but I'm greatful for having connections and not having to worry about that.

Yep, its the purple ones that almost look like a pink. I've had a friend get me the AGT ones before in 30,000k and I loved the way they looked, but long story short they blew due to a grounding issue in my car. But if you could get me a price for a kit that would be awesome.

Ah, my bad! I didn't notice that that eBay link was for 30,000k HIDs.

I've been looking at HIDs a little bit myself, but have yet to find a good DIY on YW or MI, so, looking is all I've done.

Ironically, I've also dealt with thebarber as well for Yaris goodies! He's a good guy, so I hope you guys can work something out.

(And thebarber, the shift knob that you liked but your wife hated, I have to side with you on this one; it's great!)

I didn't even know they made 30k. You can forget about it being useful, that's just wishful thinking on your part. The higher the output, the less the human eye can distinguish. Your light output will be MUCH worse then if you used 4-5k. 35W lights, I'd never go higher then 8k. For 55W, 10k would be the limit. Pink lights is incredible F&F also... But if that's what you want, go for it.
