When I replace my oil some time ago I saw that the coolant level was at a low level mark, so I added up to the maximun indicated in the container.

After some 4,000 kms, once again the coolant level is low, jus about two 3/4" from the original level, and this is something that has never happend before, and there is no leak, what could be causing this now?

My level is slowly going down... like from high to 25% above low in 1 year.

I think it's normal. I just have a jug of coolant on standby to add some more when it gets low. Every year I get the coolant flushed, which seems to help a bit.

Well it did not happend during the first two years, and its funny, since the car I had before ( for seven years) that was a diesel car, that engines runs at a lot higer temp, it did not happend.

Ive had mine since new in 08. I have never added coolant yet but it is now running on the low mark. Not to worried about it. Nothing is leaking yet so i just keep a eye on it

Doesn't coolant loose it's density over time, which in return would make it not "rise" as much as it used to?

So what says the book about replacing it, how many miles?, if that is the case.

Check for a pink spray inside the hood. That would indicate waterpump leaks..

Aside from an obvious leak, it can be normal for coolant level to decrease over time.

The reason for this is ethylene glycol makes water very "wet".
In other words, an antifeeze/water mix will leak given the most minuscule path where plain water wont.

So, even if you can't find a leak, it can be so small that you can't see it but, over time it can lower the level.

Ok, thanks.
