The hard ride on my Yaris has been getting to me for the past few weeks, I don't have as much fun driving it as I used to. I decided to trade up for something better equipped and more comfortable and chose a new Fiesta 1.6 Titanium.

The car has a full leather interior, automatic folding mirrors, keyless entry w/ start button, anti-dazzle rear view mirror, rear privacy glass, cruise control, Sony sound system plus lots more  it wasn't exactly cheap (worked out at $24,000 USD when converted from £UK ). I haven't taken delivery of it yet but this is the car:

I just wish that manufacturers kept interiors simple....as in match the interior to the exterior.....black with black, not brown with black....ugh but ford has tried to jazz up their interiors....

It's purple, not brown...and I chose that specifically, it's a special option.

Wow shiit... For twice the cost of a Yaris, is it twice as big? I never understood why people buy the VW beetle and the British Mini... they are even smaller than the Yaris, yet cost about twice as much... like, if they are going to compromise on size, it should be reflected in the price.

The top spec Yaris here is £15285 which converts to $24,572. Welcome to rip-off Britain...The MINI Cooper S works out at over $40,000 here in the UK.

All that matters is that you're happy with it so that's good:biggrin:

for that kind of money you could have had a new prius and 50+ mpg.

Got to say I never been into Ford cars but I did owned a Escort. The Fiesta is the ONLY Ford I liked so far I think it has some style to it.

Think again. Prius base price in the UK is $33,000.

Always sad to see another blue 3-door go  But the Fiesta seems a nice choice, I especially like the 3-door + high spec setup. Most cars of that class tend to be 5-door here, and the few 3-door models are mostly base spec. Hope the new car gives you the ride comfort you were after.

PS> That one looks like it has a manufacturing defect on the interior. The steering wheel is on the wrong side. :)

I actually like that interior color combo. Better than the typical tan, grey or black interior that seems to infest every car sold in the U.S.
