hii everybody, I want to move the gear shifter of my yaris a little up, is this going to provoke any difficulties in changing the gear !!! thnx in advance

when u say "up".. do u mean forward, toward the engine.. or "up" as in vertically towards the roof? and u want 5mm i take it?

Use a shifter extension at the top instead. Not a good idea to relocate the box.

If you want to rasie the shifter so it wiil be more accessible but do not want a longer throw.....

Since you want to rework the shiter anyway, why not install a short shifter and then install a small extention.

I agree that it's not a good idea to relocate the shifter box.
