So Im thinking about picking up a Yaris again. LOL I really like my Prius and all but I just miss my Yaris...
Im looking for a white 4dr hatch~ so keep your eyes out for any for sale~

It seems pretty dead here but I see a lot of new people so thats good.
So who else is still here?

Wow. I was going to start a new thread saying, "Where is everyone?" and then I see this thread!

Taiyaka, it's GREAT to hear you are thinking about getting a yaris again. I didn't even know you got a prius! Interesting. Ya, doesn't seem many hawaii people come on the boards anymore. However, on a positive note, I have seen some dropped and slightly modded yaris's on the road that I don't recognize from here.

I believe the only guy who is serious about his car still, is yarisugi. I believe 808_yaris is going to be selling his car soon.

And if you didn't know, since the last time I've seen you, I've got a turbo kit installed with some new wheels!

Ok well I picked up a new 5dr Hatch, white, auto (yes auto, I wanted this. LOL) So its great to be back. Still on the lot I swapped in my Alpine W505 that I took from my Prius. LOL

But yeah David I saw you ad and stuff about you selling it. We gotta set up a shoot before then! maybe a group photoshoot for SpeedHawaii!

Same here, I seen a few sedans that are dropped with rims. A seen a few hatches modded too.
Turbo huh? thats pretty sick. Seems lots of stuff is still happening even if no one posts that much.

I'm still here. Haven't done much to my Yaris lately since I've been working on my other projects. Looking to get a new set of wheels some time soon.

What kind of wheels do you have in mind? Also, you going to drop it? Coilovers or springs?

What's your plans for it?

Ehhh honestly nothing much... my plans so far is pretty much just sounds, drop springs, and wheels. Looking at Works or the OG Sakura's (what? I like them~ lol). A few other small exterior stuff. Might not touch the engine besides Optima Battery and maybe SRI.

oh nice. those actually look pretty good. i usually only like black on the blue yaris, but the white looks surprisingly good.

those windows look pretty dark. Can't be 35%?

You should get some RS tail lights and clean up that rear!

Haha you remembered. LOL!! idk if its just my junk eyes, but it seems/feels like the 2011 is higher? idk I have to measure again...

i might have df210 for sale... if i figure out how to install the front megan coilovers.. lol..

My car is on S-techs right now, possibly upgrading to some KW coilovers later. My car is already too low to go a lot of places, but my worn stock shocks are the main reason I want to upgrade to coilovers. I might try a set of 15" Enkei wheels and see how I like them compared to my current 16" O.Z. wheels. Here's my car now:

Yeah, I did. I did some math and figured out that my 16" wheel and tire combo is only 2% lighter vs the 17" combo, but it is 5% shorter in diameter which makes a noticeable difference in acceleration (and gas mileage). The 15" combo I'm looking at is 6% lighter but only 3.5% shorter vs the 17's so it comes in somewhere in between the two. The road I drive to work is getting kind of bad so I also want to see if the 50 series tires are a reasonable compromise between ride and handling vs the 40 series i currently run. That plus I apparently get bored with my wheels quickly, lol.

Thats correct! LOL long story short. I will be quitting my job and moving back to Japan this summer until school start again. I can afford to keep paying the payments when Im away. But who knows, maybe I can still hold on to it while im there. It will be nice to not have to drive a piece of junk when I come back. haha
