hey guys, i've been doing some research for a bit lately, and currently i am leaning towards to getting Megan coilover kit(adjustable) for $900, well first thing first, i live LA, CA and wanna know if that is a good price, second is that i wanna make my car low enough to make my stock wheels to tuck in nice enough so that i have some clearance for bumps and dips...any suggestions? my budget is under 1k

thanks

i bought those coilovers and are on my yaris now.. check out my pics in my garage.. i still have about 2 inches in the front and rear if i wanted to lower it more.. u could easily get a nice wheel tuck with these coilovers. the ride quality is not bad at all..

Check out the Kido Racing Coilovers. I think CaliYari was selling them now.

thanks.. i didnt do any adjustment at all.. i threw them on straight out the box and BAM! i was like "they set these things just the way i wanted them to." mine is almost 2" lowered and my camber didnt change really. got maybe -1.. if that.. in the front.. rear the same.. if you wanna "tuck" then you may need the bolts and shims.. im also rolling on 15" steelies as my DD..

900 is a really good price for coilovers.. and i autocross.. im content

so I did a lil more research on coilover, I had found out another store sells Megan coilover for $800 so what u guys think? and I am thinking of putting 1.25" in the front and 1.5" in the back how's that sound?

i am not sure if they do offer free shipping but both stores are actually both local, so therefore i could get it from either or...one that sells $900 actually showed me a picture for my car which includes all things i need and the 2 bars that goes in the rear for the rear suspension, the other store that sells $800 didnt show me the picture so iunno if it is the one for my car...so therefore leads to one option, getting it from the one that sells it for $900....she told me i could get better deal if i get more things from her so iunno

i have a picture on my phone of when i opened the box. it came with the coilovers and shocks all around of course. 2 swaybar links which tighten up the front sway bar.. they are like 4 inches shorter then the oems. 2 allen keys to adjust dampening, 2 allen keys with <--H-S--> knobs on the top so u can easily adjust, 1 set of coilover wrenches. and a few stickers.. i think i came with a couple bolts for the upper support bracket but i didnt need to use those..

i say support our vendors.. they help alot with this website and if you pm garm (cali yaris) directly with any concerns he will help u out so much.
