Change handbrake handle?

Is it possible to change the factory handbrake handle on a Yaris Hatchback 1999-2003?

I'm not with the car at the moment, so if someone could just tell me?

Yes, you can change it out with an aftermarket. The original is glued on extremely well and will take a lot of cutting to get it off. I have done it without any problems (I used a dremel and made quick work of it).

Hi everyone, there isn't very much out there on this. And thank you to az_saguaro for the reply. That's the conclusion i was coming to since i couldn't just slide it off or found any screws on the factory handle on my 2017 Yaris HB. I will later post before and after pics on how i went about removing the factory handle and put on a Sparco e brake handle! :)
