Just found this group:redface:

Our Yaris is a 1 litre GS W reg and has recently had it's 160 000 mile service at a main dealer. They are around the corner and they gave up trying to flog us a new one a while back. Only non wear and tear problem was the sump rusting throughfrom the outside, due to lack of protective gunge from leaking oil!!

Gets washed about twice a year. Have the roof rack for Ikea etc. visits. Carrys our camping gear and it has been across the chanel a few times.

Original battery was changed at last service, and exhaust fixed. Used for a 50 mile round trip commute everyday and as SWMBO, who drives it, has just over a year to go before retirement we see no need to change it yet.

180 000 miles or 300 000 km is the design spec for most new cars (well it was a few years back when I read it in an industry magazine)

Love the digital speedo.

Cannot offer any tips. No problems.
